Are you ready to take the next step in your career and help build something from the ground up?
We are opening a brand new facility in Karlstad and are looking for a Workshop Manager who wants to be involved from day one. Here you will have the chance to build the business from scratch, take full responsibility for the workshop, and leave your mark on how we operate in Värmland.
In this role, you will work operationally in the workshop, have great freedom in your daily tasks, and be fully responsible for ensuring the job is done correctly. At the same time, you will have solid support from the organization, colleagues who have made the same journey - and a strong brand behind you.
Does this sound like something for you? Welcome to us!
We are Work System - and we make a difference in the everyday life of professionals.
Since 2009, we have created smart, crash-tested, and modular vehicle interiors that bring order and structure to service vehicles across Europe. Our driving force is simple: to make working life safer, smoother, and more efficient. We combine innovation, quality, and care with a strong team spirit where we support each other and our customers. Together, we build solutions that save time, money, and the environment - and make every workday safer for our customers.
Your role as Workshop Manager with us
As a Workshop Manager, you will have the chance to run the workshop as your own, with overall responsibility for the daily operations of the workshop. You will initially be the sole technician, which means a great deal of personal responsibility - both operationally and administratively. You will work in modern facilities from 2022 with ongoing support from the Regional Manager and assistance from skilled workshop colleagues in Örebro & Västerås who have been involved in starting similar facilities.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Assembly and installation of vehicle interiors and accessories primarily in transport vehicles.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving - you take responsibility for the entire process, from receiving the vehicle to delivering it completed to the customer.
- Planning and scheduling.
- Sales, purchasing, and customer service.
- Customer contact, email, and administration.
- Ensuring high quality, safety, and delivery in all work.
The majority of your time will be spent hands-on in the workshop, but with elements of administration and customer contact.
As the facility grows, the role may evolve to include personnel responsibility for additional technicians.
Who are you?
We place great emphasis on ensuring that our employees thrive and develop with us. Therefore, we believe you are the person who knows that it is the people in the team that lead to success. As a leader, it is important that you are attentive, clear, fearless, and skilled at engaging and motivating others.
Maintaining high quality is also important to you - and you have good planning and prioritization skills. With a clear customer focus, you are social, proactive, and driven - and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of variety and change in your work.
Our wishes for you:
- Experience leading a team in a workshop or industrial environment (preferable).
- Familiarity with connecting 12v electrical systems in vehicles, such as auxiliary lights, work lights, or similar (preferable).
- Previous experience working with vehicles in a role as a mechanic or similar, or have an interest in cars and/or enjoy tinkering in your spare time.
- Driver's license B, manual (required).
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written (required).
What we offer you:
- A key role in the startup of a completely new facility.
- The opportunity to influence, build, and develop the business.
- Short decision-making paths in an entrepreneurial culture.
- Market-based salary, profit sharing, ATF, pension, and insurance.
- Wellness allowance, AWs, team activities, and community.
- Working hours: Monday–Friday, daytime.
With us, pride, simplicity, speed, joy, and ambassador are not just words - they are our values that shape everything we do.
